What they wish they'd known
As a person of color, I wish I would’ve known where to find people who look and think like me. However, it is pretty easy once you actually start finding for your place on campus.
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
This depends on major(s)/minor(s) for course load and also personal expectations for the college experience but in my personal opinion. Happiest: people who prioritize their school work and responsibilities early on and speak up when they need help, also those who have their community whether it’s an organization or just friends who’ve become family. Struggles: people who have poor time management AND don’t look for the help.

What they wish they'd known
Even if you’re here on scholarship or grants there are so many hidden fees that you may not think about that can run up your debt.
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
At a PWI it feels catered to the majority (white students) minorities have no where to escape or express themselves, and the one place we have the school wants to stop funding it for their political agenda. Minorities can’t even participate in harmless fun without authorities shutting it down. I’ve visited friends at other PWI’s and it’s a very different experience.

What they wish they'd known
One thing I wish I’d known before enrolling is that a parking pass doesn’t include every lot on campus.
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
I believe the students that are the happiest are the ones who get involved in student organizations, ensuring they have something to look forward too. The University of Delaware has over 400 registered student organizations, so there’s a space for everyone to feel welcome and connected to their peers and interest. Additionally, students that struggle are often not prioritizing their school work and obligations. Yes, socializing is encouraged, but ensure that you are up to date with your assignments. If you ever need any assistance, there are multiple free tutoring resources for all subjects.

What they wish they'd known
I wish I knew more about the different places on campus where people who looked like me hung out like the cbc for example.
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
Don’t be scared to try things out. If there’s a club or organization that catches your eye go to their events and try to see what it’s about. Chances are you’ll find people you can relate to.

What they wish they'd known
I wish my orientation and tour mentioned the Center for Black Culture. I believe my first year experience would’ve been better if I was able to interact with people who look like me more. I also wish I knew about incompletes and how they can save you!
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
I believe the majority is happy at this PWI while the minority is who struggles to be heard. Even though the minority have created a home within each other here I believe we still struggle with many issues and the school can do better in making a change.

What they wish they'd known
I wish I’d apply to other schools except just in state to get a better opportunity in figuring out the cost and how I would develop it for the next 4 years.
Who's happiest here, and who struggles
I feel like it can vary but the happiest looks to be the a lot of the people in Greek life. And struggles would be the minority group (meaning people who want to get their voice out to support more inclusiveness)
